Beijing Charity Association implemented the emergency preplan

14：28 on May 12th 2008, there was such a severe earthquake of magnitude 8.0 happened in Sichuan Province Wen Chuan County. CPC Central Committee and the state council paid great attention to it and the  premier of state council，Wen jiabao, went to the disaster area to commanded the quake relief work.

The chiefs of BCA also paid great attention to that ,called emergency sessions immediately, and donated 2 million Yuan to the disaster area which had been appropriated on May 13th  meanwhile，then an emergency preplan had been implemented .BCA publicized the donation hot line to all sections of society and asked all of the 18 districts and counties’ offices of BCA to make sure the line could be put through. Immediately after that, BCA arranged the staff keeping watch round the clock.

Then, BCA got the notification from the city government and appropriated 1 million Yuan for buying pharmaceuticals in urgent need and delivered to the disaster area.
